The Silver Spring redevelopment project is comprised of 20 acres of revitalization
and reconstruction. Upon completion, the project will contain over 700,000
square feet of high-end retail, office and hotel space. The objective of the
project is to provide a street friendly atmosphere in which visitors can enjoy
strolling the walkways, pocket parks and relaxing on benches between shopping,
dining and entertainment. To make this goal a reality, Loiederman Soltesz
Associates, Inc. has been working with the client on relocation of streets,
sidewalks, street lights, above ground and below ground utilities. Loiederman
Soltesz Associates is also providing stormwater management, which includes
improved water quality drainage, surveying and other related design services.
