Riderwood Village

The Riderwood Village campus, located along the border of Prince George’s and Montgomery counties in Maryland, is a 23-building campus that contains 2,000 elderly apartments, a 640-bed assisted living/nursing care facility, a chapel, four community buildings and several indoor and outdoor recreation areas. Loiederman Soltesz Associates, Inc.’s services for the project included forest stand and wetland delineations; topographic, boundary and existing utility surveying; special exception zoning approvals; preliminary and final subdivision plans and permits to demolish the former Great Oaks buildings and site utilities; conceptual and final civil engineering and land planning including site grading plans, storm drain and paving plans, water/sewer plans, stormwater management plans, erosion/sediment control plans, signage and striping plans, tree conservation plans, A/E team coordination and permit processing; and, construction stakeout, as-built and site/permit close-out efforts. The firm also designed five offsite road improvement projects.
