The
430-acre King Farm development is comprised of 3,200 residential units, 3.1
million square feet of office and R&D space and 125,000 square feet of
retail, community and recreational facilities. The housing mix includes single
family homes, townhomes, courtyard homes, condominiums and luxury apartments.
Loiederman Soltesz Associates, Inc. provided civil engineering, environmental
consulting and surveying services for the development. The firm provided due
diligence services for acquisition, consulted during the annexation process,
provided support engineering for the CPD process and final engineering for
the project. Loiederman Soltesz Associates was honored
in September 2004 by the Maryland-National Capital Building Industry Association
with an environmental award for its work on Irvington Centre, a commercial
office building that is part of the King Farm project.
