Fallsgrove

The Fallsgrove project is a 254-acre mixed-use development that contains 1,275
dwelling units, over 120,000 square feet of office, over 250,000 square feet
of medical offices, retail, restaurants, grocery stores and an elementary
school. Retailers include Safeway, Chevy Chase Bank and a number of other
shops and restaurants. Loiederman Soltesz Associates, Inc. provided civil
engineering, environmental consulting and surveying services for the development.
The firm provided due diligence services for acquisition, consulted during
the annexation process, provided support engineering for the CPD process,
and final engineering for the project. The stormwater management for this
site consists of three new stormwater quantity management facilities and three
retrofit facilities. Loiederman Soltesz Associates
was honored in September 2003 by the Maryland-National Capital Building Industry
Association with an environmental award for its work on the Fallsgrove project.
