Soltesz Associates, Inc. was responsible for all utility designs including
storm drainage, and water and sewer for this project, which was part of an
effort to revitalize the area surrounding the Bethesda Metro station. The
firm also engineered the paving plans including the special streetscape plans
as required by the Maryland-National Capital Park and Planning Commission
(M-NCPPC). Loiederman Soltesz Associates provided the engineered design of
sediment control measures, including pumping devices; design and coordination
of the water service to the southern CBD areas referenced under “Special
Design or Construction Features”; and construction stakeout services
to both the owner/developer and the general contractor.
