Guilford Office Condominium
Frederick County, Maryland
The
Guilford Office Condominium is an adaptive re-use office complex located on
the grounds of Guilford Manor, a 19th century structure with an associated
complex including a two-story smokehouse and formal gardens. The new Guilford
Office Condominium buildings were designed by Loiederman Soltesz Associates,
Inc. at a scale that would complement the existing Manor House. The firm utilized
federal “period-style” architecture to integrate the overall design.
The Guilford Office Condominium project design is a blending of old and new
that provides for progress into the future with a firm commitment to honoring
the past. Loiederman Soltesz Associates was honored
with an Award of Excellence for Best Integration of an Historic Structure
by the Frederick County Builders Association for this project.
